Why We Love It<\/strong> | Its simple and clean design and the respect of the natural environment.<\/p>\n

Casa Maceira is surrounded by forest and from any room you can enjoy this natural views.<\/p>\n

Its located in Figueir\u00f3, Tomi\u00f1o, a small natural and Atlantic place in the South of Galicia, near the mouth of the Mi\u00f1o River in the Atlantic Ocean and near the fishing port of A Guarda.<\/p>\n

The main house is a small accommodation for up to four people.<\/p>\n

But there\u2019s also a little cabin with lovely mountain views and with a maximum capacity for 3 people.<\/p>\n

The space welcomes couples or couples with kids.<\/p>\n

Jo\u00e3o Carlos Fonseca and his couple\u00a0 are the persons behind this accommodation since 2019. Jo\u00e3o Carlos decided to create an accommodation like an own home and care as carefully and as familiar as possible.<\/p>\n

Where did the idea for this accommodation come from?<\/h1>\n

When I discovered this place, I felt that it was the ideal place to build a home and start a new life stage.<\/p>\n

The peace that is breathed, the calm that it transmits, the mountains, the vegetation, the river, was what I was looking for.<\/p>\n

Who are you? Why did you decide to create Casa Maceira?<\/h1>\n

I’m Jo\u00e3o Carlos.<\/p>\n

I have decided to set up this tourism project with my partner, to change my life after working for more than 20 years at Inditex as a decorator and window dresser.<\/p>\n

The entire interior of the accommodation is designed and decorated by me, it is my essence.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

What is the identity of the brand?<\/h1>\n

In Casa Maceira, childhood memory of living in nature is immediately recovered, the lost smells, the change of seasons, the tranquility, not worrying about schedules and relaxing from obligations.<\/p>\n

These feelings are what I want to transmit to people who want to spend a few days in our house.<\/p>\n

Why do you think your accommodation shares the Atlantic Culture?<\/h1>\n

Our accommodation is surrounded by nature, in a rural setting, near the mouth of the Mi\u00f1o River in the Atlantic Ocean and near the fishing port of A Guarda.<\/p>\n

The town where our accommodation is located is a pilgrimage center as the San Campio de Lonxe Sanctuary is located.<\/p>\n

Why is your accommodation different, what makes it unique?<\/h1>\n

Everything in Casa Maceira is taken care of to the maximum, being ourselves the ones who take care of every detail and the attention of our guests, personally attending to their needs within our possibilities.<\/p>\n

We achieve this by living in a part of the house, that is why the accommodation itself is a home and that is what we want to transmit.<\/p>\n

The farm has a swimming pool with magnificent views, with a common area where you can rest, relax quietly and have breakfast.<\/p>\n

There are various species of native trees and shrubs, as well as a small stream.<\/p>\n

We have respected the environment to the maximum so that you feel in the middle of nature<\/p>\n
